Scrolling down the Dead Sea scrolls, so many scrolls of parchment paper, so many deems of paper

Scroll no more!

Computers were so monstrous once, so much paper

To print out, they filled whole rooms once back in

1973-6  is so , archaic now, so much in today’s

Chaos seems forgetfully archaic now as we go on

Keeping at that scrolling down, back up, back

Down, stopping, they all want us to stop, it is the

New narcotic the new dangerous drug without

Any warning labels! Yeah, internet scrolling is

A largely empty aphrodisiac we are all hoping will

Save our asses, kiss our bums, tickle our fancies,

Light our fires, open our doors, save us financially,

Fill our voids, love us loads, fill our bowls, satisfy

Our goals, kiss our hungers, hug our doubts, employ

Our time, make it so we have to think less, decide fewer

Things, be less connected yet so very fulfilled, do our

Work, pay our bills, cook our meals, wash our clothes,

Check out from reality, lessen our loads, be pampered

Spoiled sooooo much more, everything we used to do

To give us purpose, satisfaction, knowing our achievements!

Yeah, scrolling is our deaths, we nd to say KAPUT once-

NOW-forI-Me-You-Myself-Ourselves-AllofUs-Never-More!

Give up all that scrolling, get up and out and Adams and

Our atoms and molecules focused once again on doing life’s

Tasks and chores and pains and bores and snores and elates,

Eating off our plates, cleaning our plates, looking for our

Soulmates all on our own, owning ourselves as once we

Did do simply so much a part of real life and not screens

That ultimately rob us all silently, purposely, profoundly

Of any and all vestiges of who & what we might be so!
