To Di Din Dine With Ave Con Avec : Poem For Michael Kerrigan, Peter Bentley, JOhn & Dan Dineen : Aussie & Kiwi Winemakers

That's " John Kavanagh ... Saturday, September 19th, 2009 5-9 PM Tasting, Dinner Afterwards @ Ardeo " that I should have included in the title here - sorry John,( there's just not enough room for these lengthy headlines/titles ... read on please ... I will add some photos soon ....

After a very successful tasting indeed we dined at Ardeo down the street. I had to close Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits down and then I joined everyone @ 9:30 PM. Fun. This is what I wrote as I closed the store down as a souvenir for these four winemakers. Cheers, TONY

Samedi soir a Cleveland Park Wines Et Spirits et apres a Ardeo restaurant avec des amis on a lovely evening in Washington D.C. Cheers, hope you like this fractured and fanciful/playful poem. I made new friends from HAY SHED HILL, VINACEOUS, NEUDORF, MAUDE, PIKES - from places like the Margaret River, Clare Valley, Nelson and the Central Otago - nice, very very nice indeed - thanks to you five guys and two gals because besides Dan, John, Peter and Dan there were also Arielle, Liz and David and myself ( Tony ) all a part of this wonderful moment ... TONY
