My Recent Serendipitous Conversations With Leila A Fortier / I Just Stumbled Upon Her Page Through Kat! Cheers...

To touch or almost touch Leila, to be able to see,
to be able to feel, to feel the freedom to
feel the freedom to really feel and reach
out and have something/someone reach back,
touching or almost, just the gentle, the gently firm touch,
the softness, the gruffness, the impact of a touch
with one's eyes, even in an embrace that is a split
second and at the beginning or the end when either
people are meeting or saying bye for awhile.

To get a better feel for someone through  what one sees
and hears and I scrolled down and was by the warmth
and the cheer and the collective forces of nature that clearly
ignite and inspire and propel  you to share that which is
like a soothing and life-giving series of images that are like
accents and rather big explosions, screams that you would
make of joy and cheer and hurray and instead these pictures
do that for you and all you have to do is see them to have these
wonderful inner smiles and smirks and grins that amaze even
you as they reveal a part of you that you would otherwise not see
or feel quite so privately and really as you do with them.

Thanks for sharing the wallpaper that adorns you inside.
Do others know? Do others suspect?
                                                        Wonderful I say.

  • Anthony Quinn You are so very colorful and tactile, you touch everything with your eyes, embrace them with your body, too ... and you love the geometrics and the patterns of life ...

  • Leila A. Fortier What an insightful comment,Anthony. Thank you so much, truly. It always intrigues me when people go into my archives. It makes me happy to share my little corner of the world as I see it through my eyes. Yes. I am a self-proclaimed kinesthetic. Extremely tactile. On my first date with my husband, I almost got us kicked out of a museum because I kept touching the paintings.

  • Leila A. Fortier I think, Anthony, that you should rework the above comment into a poem. Yes. Philosophies dancing with metaphors. Thank you so kindly. I believe, this aspect of myself comes through in all my endeavors: poetry, art, and photography. I am a sensory driven individual. My language dominates that arena as much as my eye is drawn to the tactile and textural aspects of the world which reveal emotions and universal parallels. I do not think my nature is unknown, I always feel myself to be transparent, but then when I encounter surprise, I smile. Thank you once more, Tony.
