It was great to meet Kate Clugston for the third time who's family owns the winery in South Australia called GOTHAM ( PUPPETEER & STALKING HORSE, too ) when she came to Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Friday, February 26th, 2010 to taste her current releases sold through Bacchus Imports. We have already been selling the GOTHAM wines that her father got started with us before we met Kate last year when he and Sal Furfari came to see us for the first time. We bought and sold well the GOTHAM Cabernet Sauvignon and the GOTHAM Merlot. But hey, this is about them and the poems that they all inspired me to write recently. Thanks Kate, enjoy, TONY PS : It's Sunday night now here in northern Virginia on February 28th, 2010 at 10:41 and I am all pumped-up because I just watched the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada and I heard Neil Young sing and play both his guitar and harmonica all at once ; got to listen to William Shatner ( Denny Crane! ) as well as Michael J. Fox, listen to Michael Bubble sing, too. I was holding-out for Joni Mitchell and wishing that she would have made an appearance as that would have solidified the whole thing and much, much more for me. I'm so inspired now by the athletes , their sacrifices as well as those of their families, concerned about Chile now,etcetera. Cheers, TONY
